If you are experiencing audio issues, such as one way audio with your Linksys VoIP phone, then please follow the instructions in this document.
We recommend that your phone is upgraded to the latest revision of firmware available, as of writing the following firmware revisions are considered the latest
- SPA 901 5.1.5
- SPA 941 5.1.8
- SPA 942 6.1.5
You can obtain the firmware and the software to upgrade your phones from http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10033/index.html
You need to identify the IP address of your Linksys phone, press the Menu key on the phone (looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded over) and select the Network option.
Once you have the IP address enter this into your web browser, you should then see the Linksys SPA configuration screen.
Click on Admin login, followed by Advanced.
Next click on Ext1 (or whatever extension number your account is configured on)
Next change the Audio Configuration to match the screenshot below, then once finished click on Submit All Changes, you should then find your phone restarts after a brief pause.
This should then reconfigure your phone correctly so that audio is passed correctly to and from our network.
